Norooz Celebration on Saturday, March 15, 2008
Our annual Norooz celebration was held at Turtle Rock Community Park, Irvine.
It was filled with traditional dances, animated singing, and poetry recitals that were enjoyed both by our children and parents.
The performances included a skit in which the children explained the significance of objects displayed in the haft-seen.
Our thanks go to Golsanam Fazel, our guest coreographer (and haji-firouz!),
Sahba Motallebi who's student sang and performed the setar, and our dedicated teachers and parents.
A DVD of the event has been made; please contact us if you are interested.
